Blue Vault held its Inaugural Broker Dealer Educational Summit in April 2015 at the Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta. Blue Vault was extremely grateful for the support and participation of its attendees.

The Summit allowed us to bring together leading Broker Dealers and product Sponsors to create the dialogue our industry needs to promote better transparency, education, and performance results. By continuing to improve in all three areas, we will ultimately accomplish what matters most: protecting client assets.

During the Summit, we heard from leading economist, Dr. Barry Asmus. In his unique way, Dr. Asmus addressed how the overall economy would affect our industry’s ability to perform now and in the future.

In addition, a panel of sponsors provided their projections for how FINRA’s Regulatory Notice 15-02 will impact our industry, as well as gave us a glimpse into the changes their firms are making to incorporate these new rules.

Blue Vault’s objective has always been to create greater awareness of and transparency into the complexities of nontraded REIT and BDC offerings and their performance. The Summit allowed Blue Vault to further both objectives by bringing together important industry participants to share their products and perspectives, and inspire needed conversation about the most important challenges and trends facing us today.

Blue Vault is very grateful to the hundreds of subscribers who have put their trust in our ability to deliver credible research over the past five plus years.

Our firm has been using Blue Vault from the first year it was available.

We have found it to be a valuable tool to verify what wholesalers tell us and to dig deep into how the reported investments are really performing.

We appreciate that Blue Vault has expanded its services from initially covering REIT's to now also including BDC's.

Our clients also appreciate that we conduct this additional due diligence on their behalf.
